You would sort a database to make it easier for a computer to recall information.
Four types of filters are available in Access: Filter By Selection, Common Filters, Filter By Form, and Advanced Filter/Sort.

You can import the field that is the primary key, along with all the other fields. As Excel is not really a database program, it doesn't have quite the same facilities to recognise primary keys. You can still use it as the main field to sort the data on, and also specify other fields to sort on.You can import the field that is the primary key, along with all the other fields. preverably monkey dung and remove its database
Excel is not a database itself, but a lot of spreadsheets by their nature are databases in their structure if laid out like a table. Excel also provides a range of database facilities and inbuilt database functions. Amongst the facilities are the ability to sort and to apply filters and use forms to enter data. The inbuilt functions mainly correspond to other functions in Excel, except that they can be done with criteria applied to the database. So like the SUM, MIN and MAX for example, there are functions called DSUM, DMIN and DMAX, amongst others.
It makes it easier to search.

Sort refers to the action wherein the data fetched from a database table is ordered as per a specific criteria. The default order of sort is Ascending and the user can do a descending sort by using the keyword DESC after the order by keyword. Ex: select * from employee_details order by employee_num desc If the above statement is executed data will be displayed in descending order of employee numbers.
In database a key is a field that we use to sort a data.whereas superkey is a subset of attribute so that no tuple have the same combination of values.
Hypermedia Database is the best suited type of database to use with programs that are running Windows 7. The World Wide Web is a prime example of a Hypermedia Database.
