If you're talking about fish in tanks then the only reason they should smell is if you don't change the tank water and clean the tank often enough. :)

Yes a gold fish smells. Expecsially if you dont clean their tank reguly they can get relly smelly. Becouse they prodcue allot of wast to say the least. Answer- I think what you meant by asking " Do goldfish smell" was do goldfish have a sense of smell? Yes, goldfish have a sense of smell. If you look closely at a goldfish's face you will able to see that it does indeed have nostrils and can smell. Goldfish use the sense of smell to find food in the tank- which is why goldfish who have lost their eyes or are blind can still find food quite easily.
