In general there is no problem with someone who has epilepsy taking any kind of anti-viral drug. It should not affect any medication they may be taking, or trigger a seizure. People with epilepsy take a lot of other medications from time to time, like when they have the flu or an infection. Each individual is different and the severity of their seizures and the triggers for their seizures and the amount of medication may be something to consider, but for the majority it should be no problem. You may want to talk to your pharmacist or doctor about it if you have concerns, but there should not be any problem.
