You can hand feed a Venus Flytrap but it is easier to provide the tiny morsel of food on a toothpick. Delicately brush the long trigger hairs as you drop the food on the leaf. The trigger hairs won't respond if you don't act like a small insect. They don't waste their time on creatures that are too big.
