The first step is to find out how it is getting in there. Normal cause is a failed transmission cooler. That may be part of the radiator itself. After the cause is repaired, you will have to flush the cooling system until there is no more oil in it.The first step is to find out how it is getting in there. What I do is flush the system; 'cause if your rad has corrosion, so does the rest of the cooling system. Purchase a PRESTONE flush kit at a auto store along with a container of flush and at least a gallon of antifreeze. There are detailed directions on the package. Briefly, you will be installing a flush tee in the return hose to the heater core, adding a can of flush to the rad, running the car at idle and then attaching your garden hose to do the work. Very effective.
