If you work hard enough at it, yes. The boiling point of gold is 2856 C. An oxygen-acetylene welding torch can reach up to 3500 C, so you could vaporize gold with one of these torches. (Which is one of the reasons jewelers don't use these kinds of torches!)

The change of a liquid to a gas is Vaporization. Not to be confused with "Evaporation".
A change of state from a gas to a liquid is called condensation.
A liquid can change to a gas, by heating up and evaporating into the air.
No, a liquid changing to a gas is a change of state or a physical change.
No, a liquid changing to a gas is a change of state or a physical change.
This shouldn't be a physical change as, the gold isn't being turned from it's liquid form to it's solid form. When we filter the water for gold flakes, we are essentially taking small amounts of gold from the water and collecting them together to form a larger and more apparent amount. No state change (ie, liquid to gas. Gas to liquid. Liquid to solid.) is taking place during the process.
liquid turns into gas because
A change of phase, from solid to liquid, or liquid to gas, or gas to liquid, etc., is also sometimes called a change of state.
The change from liquid to gas at the surface of a liquid is known as vaporization.
