Yes, goldfish are cold blooded animals so they do not burn up as much energy as warm blooded animals do to stay warm.

goldfish live in fresh water
For a few days yes.
Goldfish are freshwater pond fish, fish in the sea live in salt water.
goldfish do not live on land
Goldfish can live in water temperatures between 18-25 degrees Celsius. They can tolerate slight fluctuations outside of this range, but prolonged exposure to temperatures outside of this range can be harmful to their health.
They can but they shouldn't. Gold fish like colder water and guppies like warmer water. They can live when the water temperature is in that in between range when they are both not comfortable.
they can live in goldfish bowls i have always kept my beta in a goldfish bowl and my last beta lived between 4-5 years in a goldfish bowl.
Color does not play a role in how long a goldfish will live for; gentics and how well it is taken care of do. Fantail goldfish can live to be anywhere between the age of 10-25 years old.
Goldfish given out as prizes at fairs are usually lethargic, emaciated, and overall just plain out unhealthy. Goldfish from fairs are often not given an appropriate home in which to live and the people who win them are not prepared for their new pet and probally do not know much about goldfish and their needs. For this reason many, many goldfish from fairs have simply died within a week or less after being taken "home". However if given an appropriate home and if nursed back to health goldfish from fairs can live between 10-20 years! I won some goldfish from a fair and we bought a big tank and a filter and they've been alive for a year or so! I went to the same fair and won some more goldfish but they died in 2 days :( so i guess it really depends on how healthy the goldfish are.
For househeld goldfish, they generally live 6-8 years
Your goldfish will not live "longer" no matter how many or how few you have.
