Unfortunately not, both are very social creatures! If you have a gerbil in a cage with a rat they may fight or even kill each other. So please don't put them together it's not safe for the rat or the gerbil.
Rarely i'd never recomend it its not a good idea
I let mine play with each other and they really don't seem to care. But, i don't think they can live together, since they are completley different animals. Do NOT put a gerbil in with a guinea pig. You never know what could happen and it is NEVER a good idea. It's in EVERYONE's intrest to never let them come in contact with eachother.
Girl gerbils like to live together. Boy gerbils do like to if they are put in at the same time but if they are not they may fight. Boy and girl gerbils can live together but they might have babies.
Ferrets have been used for centuries in rodent control and extermination and has a natural instinct to hunt and kill mice, rats, rabbits, etc (any rodent). Ferrets natural instinct might perceive any rodent type pet as prey and attack mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, they should not be allowed to interact or be housed together.
It is not recommended for the ferret would attack the guinea pig.
No guinea pigs can be aggressive to gerbils mice hamsters and people.
It depends on the personality of the rat and gerbil. Most rats and gerbils will get along, but not all rats and gerbils do.

Gerbils live all over the place! There are actually many different species of gerbils. Domesticated gerbils are Mongolian gerbils, which means they are originally from Mongolia. Gerbils are desert animals, so they live in semiarid and arid places, like the deserts of Mongolia.
There are many differant breeds of gerbils some live in the Mongolian desert.
some gerbils come from Egypt in Africa
no
Gerbils and hamsters can live together if they're docile and nice to each other. If they don't get along, the larger rodent could get into a fight with it and kill it. While they could live together, it is best not to mix them together.
Mongolian gerbils live for 3-5 years. In some cases they can live up to 8 years, but this is uncommon.
well it depends, wild gerbils usually live in warm, humid, climates such as the desert. but if their not they live in a cage. ;)
