Most cats are okay to have around your guinea pigs. Believe me, I have three cats and three guinea pigs. The guinea pigs are only mildly interested and the cats are actually unnerved by them! Hope this helps!
Also, I have a homemade cage with no top and sometimes the cats will sleep IN the cage, the guinea pigs will just ignore them.
