Depends on the kind of hay you give your guinea pig. If your guinea pig is a pregnant mother or a growing baby, then you should give him/her Alfafa hay. If your guinea pig is NOT a pregnant mother or a growing baby, then he/she should be given Timothy hay.

∙ 12y agoJust like humans, dogs too get hayfever. Dogs may develop canine atopy which is a predisposition to contract allergic symptoms on being exposed to an allergen. The symptoms are normally itchy skin which they scratch, lick and bite in order to get some relief. If it turns severe and is not treated, the dogs may develop sores which may cause infection. Antibiotics like cortisone can be given to cure them.
