no. they are not dogs. you cannot take them for walks. they will get too tired and hate being in big open areas.
if you are wanting to use it while your piggy is on the grass, so it cant run away. it probably will find a way out and... there goes your piggy! your better off building a small area for them to play in out doors, like a small pen with plenty of shade etc.
guinea pigs are not dogs.
The answer above is wrong. Guinea pigs love open spaces to run in. They are very energetic. I'm sure your guinea pig will love going for walks as much as mine does. However, if your not walking it and your just in the yard then you should get a play pen.
I got one a month ago, and my guineas don't like it because it goes partially around their necks. If you do get one, then make sure you aren't forcing them to wear one. They need time to adjust and know that you aren't trying to hurt them.
No.
Guinea pigs have sensitive spines and can be seriously harmed by harnesses.
no i do not recommend it, they have sensitive spines and this can actually hurt them. so there is actually no way.
Guinea pigs aren't too fond of harnesses. Just close off an area and let them roam around if you must.
Don't put the rodent in a harness it will try to get out of it like a cat trying to get out of its collar. The guinea pig doesn't need a harness and its body isn't right for a harness. If you have to ask then it is obviously not safe you should never buy something that you think might hurt your pet!! They might end up hurt if you take them for walks on a leash so don't do that and carry it around if you have to.
Yes but there better of with a harness u can buy them from pets at home.
i need help with my guinea pig
no i wouldn't put a collar on a guinea pig because..(toys and cage bars) can get caught and the guinea pig could strangle but putting on a harnnes is a tottaly different thing its when you take your guinea pig out for a walk but they lead you if you pull they could die of suffecation and when you are finnished with the walk you should take it of when putting them back in the cage and 1 thing you should seriously know with harness and collars don't lead them in the streets because they can easily slip out of them
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
Do you mean a harness? If so, it shouldn't be put on in the first place... You should let your guinea pig have supervised floor/lap time :)
It depends , If you have had the Guinea Pig for more than half a month , they usually dont accept the body harness lead , but if you train them to like it when you first have them , they should be okay.
around 10 bucks max

The guinea pig should see a veterinarian. The veterinarian can discover the cause of the guinea pig's hair loss, and he or she can see what should be done for the guinea pig.
you should never put a guinea pig with a chinchilla
you should probably brush your Guinea Pig for about 5-10 minutes
your should hold your guinea pig for about 30min to an hour each day
Yes but there better of with a harness u can buy them from pets at home.
