Don't put the rodent in a harness it will try to get out of it like a cat trying to get out of its collar. The guinea pig doesn't need a harness and its body isn't right for a harness. If you have to ask then it is obviously not safe you should never buy something that you think might hurt your pet!! They might end up hurt if you take them for walks on a leash so don't do that and carry it around if you have to.

You can't take Guinea Pig's for a walk with leads or anything like that as they are very bad for a Guinea Pig's spine. You are best to either let them go in a run outside or let them out in your house. You are best letting it run in your house, but keep it away from wires and spaces it can hide in. You shouldn't use a guinea pig harness or lead as they can damage their sensitive spines.
