When you hold it and it poops in your hands, you need to get a paper towel or napkin and put it under your hamster when you hold it so it poops on the cloth; not you. By the way, always CUP YOUR HANDS when you hold a hamster. If you grab it, it will think a bigger animal is eating it and if you hold it with your hands flat (like it is on flat ground) it will fall off and escape. To get your hamster used to you, put your hand in its cage with a treat and let her grab it from your hand. Try picking it up WITH CUPPED HANDS and a cloth under he/her. Hope this helps!
P.S.
Hamsters get grumpy when you hold them for over 5 minutes. Please do not annoy animals on purpose. Do not do animal abuse, God dislikes it.
:) =) ;)
See ya!
Well, i just got my hamster yesterday and my friend helped me put it in it's cage and it pooped on her a couple times... I suggest that if its new, leave her alone for at least 24 hours to get used to its new habitat. If its not, try not to pick them up if its not used to you yet...
Hamster can and usually do poop on people (or any surface it is on)
you might be feeding him too much but hampsters do poop alot anyway
they are not supposed to be, so it may have diarrhea, so it is best if you take it to the vets.
Any hamster is easy to hold but is depends on how you treat it but if you want to hold a hamster you need to check its water and food and of course the hamster SO ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TREAT YOUR HAMSTER WITH RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, it does not necessarily mean that your hamster has diarrhea if it poops a lot. There are several other factors that could be contributing to your hamster's increased bowel movements. Some of these factors could include: A sudden change in diet or environment Stress or anxiety A parasitic or bacterial infection A reaction to certain medications or vitaminsIf your hamster is pooping a lot and you are concerned about their health, it is best to take them to a veterinarian for an examination.
The big thing is it will bleed when it poops, has a hard time breathing, doesn't eat/drink much, and looks like a bag of bones. Sadly your hamster might not survive, if you haven't already take your hamster to a vet.
well their is really not much to do with a hamster but, they are fun to hold.
yes
First you need to know which is the corner where your hamster poops, then you can use a little tray with cat litter or chinchilla sand. Hamsters can be properly potty trained in a week or so.
Yes, unless you poke or do uncomfortable things to a hamster they will bight you.
When They poop red it is either the food or that it is bleding when it craps. If you feed it food that is red the that is why if not you need to take it to the vet ASAP.
no or the mom will eat them
