NEVER LET YOUR HAMSTER SWIM. No matter what you've heard, water is VERY dangerous for hamsters. If they don't drown trying to stay afloat, they will probably catch pneumonia. You do NOT want your hamster to get pneumonia.
You should never put your hamster in water. They are very small animals and they can't regain heat so fast so they can catch pneumonia really easily and die. Besides, wild hamsters live in Eurasia and they are not used to swim.
yes! I put my dwarf hamster,Rambo,in a big bowl of water and he swam around like a little fish.
None of them, hamsters weren't made to swim.
NOOOOOOOO! Do not wet your hamster! Its natural oils will be removed and the hamster will die!
I do not recomend you teaching your hamster to swim. As far as I know letting a small animals like a hamster can get wet can get it sick very fast.
Hope this helps.
How you teach a hamster to swim is each day you shold fill the water higher until you got a hamster swimming make sure the water is warm go on try it it will work i have done this before.
Erm, I haven't seen a hamster swim exactly... But if your hamster can swim, you would need to supervise your hamster in case he/she drowns or fatigue.
