"Yes, they can. How else would they live through the ages?" but not in captivity.
Yes they do but you cant see it!

if a pet in there little hermie hut if wild animal i have no idea
depends on what kind of hermit crab, there are land and water hermits. they live according to what type they are.
i don't think so i don't know how you would lol and i never give mine baths . . .
Of Course they do they have black balls on top of there head those are eyes.
NO.............this is a new person here whoever this was who said no is completely wrong hermitcrabs do have shells infact they could not live with out one
No. Baby hermit crabs usually live in water for a while after they are born, they later come onto land.
A few actually. Seals, Dolphins, Cats (sometimes), HermitCrabs, Foxes have eaten them out of trash or have been fed them. Seagulls, and Whales.
well,you should ALWAYS have 2 larger shells for each crab that you have.i saw mine out of its shell.but i didnt have a shell the right size.if hermitcrabs dont have shells when they need it,theyll get mad.{im not joking}
use a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel and place the hermit crab near it. If you have a tank setup - you should be using heat lamps or UTH's to provide heat for your hermit crabs. please go to hermitcrabs-r-us.com or landhermitcrabs.com for information on how to care for hermit crabs.
