A person with an STD may experience headaches, but typically they would not be the only sign of STDs. Talk with your health care provider about your headaches, and ask to be screened for STDs if you have concerns.

Herpes inside the throat has been known to trigger or cause specific types of headache, usually related to the trigeminal nerve roots that serve that area. For a diagnosis, a doctor needs to be consulted. Preferably a headache specialist who is best able to diagnose, treat and manage headache disorders.
