No unless it has been either wet or exposed to an open package for a long period of time. Dont it eat if it was open do you want to be eating bug eggs? yeah i didnt think so either.
Almost everything can go bad. but if you refridgerate it then I am sure that it won't go bad.
It can, but not usually. If stored properly, Hershey's baking cocoa can last for a very long time.
no
The taste of baking power is a bitter taste not that far from vinegar. Baking powder is an acid, so its sour. I wouldn't recommend tasting it.
To get to cocoa beans to the plant where they are harvested and prepared, they often go by man (foot) or by car. To go from the cleaning and preparing plant to the Hershey Processing Plant, they often go by airplane and then by car.
No, it can be mixed with about any type of liquid. ok this other person is wrong baking soda will go bad if mixed with water even in a plastic bag that is sealed it will mold so unless you are going to mix it in food asap (less that 24 hours) it will go bad!
When you find insect crawling around in it. Make sure you keep it in an airtight container.
I don't think you can heal a bad stomach, you just have to wait for it to go.
They are all different. Depends on where and how they are stored. Crisco will go rancid once it is open. Maybe a year. Cocoa if sealed tight after opening maybe 2-3 years. Vanilla should last about forever if sealed, sugar also. Flour will also get rancid and possible buggy. If kept dry, 1 maybe 2 years. Spices vary but a couple of years for most. They shouldn't go bad, they just loose flavor.
Powdered milk plus vanilla is closest equivalent of unsweetened cocoa powder. Those are the flavoring agents in white chocolate; the other ingredients give it the chocolate like texture. However, powdered milk will probably alter the texture of your recipe more than cacao powder will, so it may be a better idea to simply use vanilla. To get some other ideas look at the ingredients in a white chocolate cocoa mix.
Home kitchens have been known to keep tins of cocoa powder for years without noticeable spoilage. Such anecdotal evidence should not be relied on as safe, only as typical.
no not really....Cocoa has a high fat content, and there is a chance that the fat has gone rancid. Many flavors will also alter with age. However, most dry goods are fine to store and will not go bad easily. If your cocoa powder smells and tastes fine it probably is fine.
Before people had refrigeration, most cakes would go bad if they were not eaten soon after baking. Fruitcakes last longer.
Baking soda is a simple inorganic chemical, sodium bicarbonate. It does not deteriorate when exposed to dry air. It can last for years if properly stored. Baking soda may go bad if you keep it in a moist area. It absorbs moisture. It also absorbs various air borne chemicals. If it has not been stored, then these contaminants may have been absorbed or changed it from a powder to lumps. It is a common mistake to think that you can keep it fresh in a refrigerator. That serves to expose it to odors and moisture and is good for the refrigerator but not for the baking soda.
you go die in a hole
