yes it can due to the acids strength
yes
yes sir
Chief cells lining the stomach. (They actually secrete H+ and Cl- ions individually, but it becomes HCl in the solution).
Phosphoric acid was discovered in 1770 by K...bone ash (1774) and produced phosphoric acidby the action of nitric acid...it
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. The hyaluronic acid that is used as medicine is extracted from rooster combs or made by bacteria in the laboratory.
it would be dissolved
The chemical formula for Hydrofluoric Acid is HF. Similar to HCl which is hyrochloric acid. I was told last year by the Dr. incharge of me that HF is a very vicious acid and can melt through skin and bone :/ (Hence couldn't use it in an experiment)
No it cannot. If the water was extremely acid (like your stomach acid is), then the acid could break down all the protein in the steak, thus effectively dissolving it. Pure water will never dissolve a steak. Period.
because crocodiles cannot chew so they need acid with a low pH that can dissolve flesh and bone
citric, phosphoric and carbonic acid by Geordi
Bone fragments are made of calcium carbonate. When calcium carbonate is eaten and enters the stomach, the acids in the stomach will dissolve the calcium carbonate.
It depends upon the acid.A strong acid will easily dissolve the bone while a weak one won't.I think HCL to be a strong acid so the bone will be dissolved in it.
Yes. A snake can digest bone because the acid in their stomach is stronger than a humans acid therefore letting the snake decompose harder and rougher objects.
Carbonation
Coke cannot dissolve meat because the soda contains acids such as phosphoric and citric acids which will EVENTUALLY dissolve the meat if you give it the time. The concentration of the acid is so low that our digestive systems are easily capable of digesting it with no harm to us.
Eventually, it will. Eventually, Coca Cola will actually dissolve anything, but this could take a really long time. Especially since it's a rib bone :) You could try a tooth Teeth, are smaller and more fragile, so they dissolve fairly quickly
if the mineral salts of bone is dissolved in an acid like HCl then the bone becomes soft and spongy like rubber.however if the same is done with base it will only become bright because the bone becomes clean but salts fail to react an dissolve.
You can very well treat the bones with acid. What happens when using the acid is what makes the calcium dissolve, and it also helps make the bones more flexible.
Bone is largely made of calcium carbonate and when exposed to acid this mineral will react with the acid to release CO2. The bone will appear to be dissolved by the acid.
