It depends upon the acid.A strong acid will easily dissolve the bone while a weak one won't.I think HCL to be a strong acid so the bone will be dissolved in it.
it depends on what sort of meat and how old it is.
When you put hydrochloric acid on a chicken bone it makes the bone soft, allowing it to bend. It does so by dissolving the calcium in the bone.
they melt!
Bone is largely made of calcium carbonate and when exposed to acid this mineral will react with the acid to release CO2. The bone will appear to be dissolved by the acid.
If you eat chicken with blood on the bone, you might get parasites in your body(possibly a tapeworm[tapeworms take your vitamins from foods you eat]).
The changing of the texture of chicken to a rubbery state can be caused by the loss of moisture. It can also be caused by an acidic reaction. It is like the wishbone being soaked in vinegar. The acid in the vinegar makes the chicken bone rubbery.
the chicken bone will begin to stink as well as the water will smell really gross! u can throw up doing a project like that as i did :Po yea i was hereu other guys are all wrong! u have to do the project 4 real!
yes a chicken bone does have marrow
it would be dissolved
The Hydrochloric acid will cause the calcium in the bone to erode, therefore causing the bone to look burnt as well as it will be very flexible
The chicken bone will become flexible and easy to move. The bone will also look weird because it will change color. The lactic acid in the milk does this.
hmm
acid
Since Pepsi (like all Cola) is acidic, the carbonate in the bone will neutralise the acid, and the bone will become flexible and less rigid as part of the structure has been lost.
Bone is largely made of calcium carbonate and when exposed to acid this mineral will react with the acid to release CO2. The bone will appear to be dissolved by the acid.
nothing really happen's to a chicken bone in water.
The acid in the vinegar dissolves out the calcium in the chicken bone. (Calcium is most of the reason that bones are hard.)
Carbonation
If you heat a chicken bone it will likely explode. This is because these bones can only handle so much heat energy.
You will choke (obviously) and depending on who is around you or how big the bone is, you could possibly die.
