You will choke (obviously) and depending on who is around you or how big the bone is, you could possibly die.
nothing really happen's to a chicken bone in water.
If it is safe to do so, put your hand in the dog's mouth and take the chicken bone out. If the bone is stuck or the dog is aggressive, a veterinarian may need to anesthetize the dog to remove the bone.
If you heat a chicken bone it will likely explode. This is because these bones can only handle so much heat energy.
Really, no bones are good for your dog because they can splinter and lodge themselves in the dog's throat or even cause damage to their digestive systems.
It will start to smell like DOO DOO
The chicken bone will become flexible and easy to move. The bone will also look weird because it will change color. The lactic acid in the milk does this.
If you eat chicken with blood on the bone, you might get parasites in your body(possibly a tapeworm[tapeworms take your vitamins from foods you eat]).
when a bone is placed in water, the bone loses its collagen which also leads to loss of the bone's color.
chicken bone
Scientifically speaking, I'm not 100% certain that it will or will not decay a chicken bone. But, I will make an inference. I'm inferring that anything will decay a chicken bone. The oxygen around the chicken bone has chemicals that will slowly decay anything in the matter of time. If you add soda to it, I'm not sure what would happen to it but I know it will still decay with soda on it.
This may not be the current way, but when my Dad's brother got a fishbone stuck in his throat, they told him to swallow vinager to soften the bone. And by the way, its, "How can you remove a fishbone stuck in your throat?" I'm 11, so my Dad is not old-old
Seems that the chicken bone has damaged superficially your throat's mucosa. It is a normal feeling after such trauma in the throat. You can try with menthol caramels or you may use oral anesthetics and disinfectants as mouthwashes several times per day.
