Can a hair follicle drug test detect how much hydrocodone you have taken?

Yes it does buddy, better get you some of that shampoo from your local head shop. Oh and heres a tip, they like to be sneaky and take it from places on your body. No joke, been there myself and got popped for coke. Needless to say I ended up getting my parole revoked. So either shave your body and use it on your head or get enough to do EVERYTHING. Youll be alright if it's been 90 days though. Hair follicle testing only works for the last 90 days.

∙ 12y agoYes and no. If its just a hair 5 drug panel test then no.But if its a hair 5 drug panel + extended opiates then yes, your screwed. Best advice I can give is to hope and pray if its to keep someone you love and do what's right there after.

Is it probable...NO.
Like all laboratory tests, there is a cut-off level which if the concentration is below, will be reported as NEGATIVE.
The metabolites of hydrocodone may stay in the body for several days which can be integrated in the hair shaft. Theoretically, it can be found. So far, even to the limits of detection, one dose of Hydrocodone have not been found.
Many other factors change the probability of finding it including: hair color, growth rate, cosmetic treatment to the hair, exposure to UV, etc.
Overall, it is very unlikely that one dose will show up as positive.

∙ 14y agoNo. A hair drug test can only tell what type of drug (Vicodin, Oxycontin, Valium, etc...) that you have taken. It can also tell how much you have taken of each drug. For example if you have been misusing/abusing a drug, the test can tell by the levels in your hair.
