Yes, but you have to respect the principles of "bonding". They, like you, cannot be forced to like someone else : it must come from them. Bonding is a technique about how to get them to know each other in the hope they will become friends. Do not fear, bunnies are gregarious by nature and can learn to live in pairs, and in fact enjoys it : it lessens their stress and makes them less bored when left alone. First, you must introduce them by putting their cages next to each other's. when they are used to see and smell the new rabbit, put the two of them carefully in a neutral space (where none of them has ever been : it can mean your restroom, kitchen, even the back of a car!) Supervise at all times!During these encounters, they might fight : with a water sprayer, oven mitt or even a broom, separate them. If one tries to get on top of the other, it is ok. Begin with 5 minutes-sessions and extend when it goes well (they ignore each-other or even groom). When everything is well in the neutral space, put them in a known space, an do the same procedure. The process is ended when they groom in their common cage. You have a couple! To get infos on how to bond your 2 rabbits, you can go to the house rabbit society's website, they have extensive documents on it, with photos and all.
Yes, but I would wait until your 5 month old rabbit is 6 months or mature adult weight. You don't say which is the buck and which is the doe, A 4 year old buck MAY not be as fertile as you would hope and a 4 year old doe may not have many eggs left. Just so you know that the result may not be what you are hoping for. A 4 year old rabbit is nearing it's normal life expectancy end.
You can, but the older bunny could bully the younger one. Try putting them in separate cages first, and put the cages next to each other. When they've grown used to each other, then you can try putting them in the same cage, but supervise their behavior.
no they could be bred before they're ready and before you even think possible, which is fatal to the mother.
It all depends on how old your older rabbit is, if it is older than 2 months, at your home, its best not to because as you sould know, rabbits get , and can be very territorial. Good Luck!
i have a dwarf bunny who is three years old and he digs at me. dwarf rabbits usually have attitudes. and if its that young maybe it thinks it can burrow into u and get warmer. and the nipping... probably its either mad or playing.

That kind of operation is a big change your rabbit has to go through. 5 months is probably too early as rabbit has only very recently left its moth
If your rabbit is only 4 weeks old she will not be pregnant. Rabbits cannot become pregnant until they reach puberty and a 4 week old bunny is not even old enough to have been weaned, let alone to have reached puberty yet. NO, they have to be 4-6months old.
Of course.
The life cycle of a bunny begins with a gestation period of a month. The bunny is born and is nursed by its mother until it reaches about two months of age. The bunny then begins to eat things like grasses and seeds. The bunny is an adult at about one year of age. The bunny can live to be ten years old.
my chihuahua is 6month old and 4 lbs how big will she get? ****It just depends. its called genetics. if the mom was 5 lbs and the dad was 5lbs then theres a probable chance that your chi will be 5lbs. i have a 3 month old and he is only 1lb and 6oz.
Any age , I take my bunny/rabbit for walkes all the time she is about 1 month :)
Bunny Campione is 62 years old.
