Open the drain screw that holds the body of the hydraulic jack. This way you can addhydraulic oil to the hydraulic jack.
How do you put oil in my Ritter motor chair
Power steering sealer and conditioner fluid.
There should be a screw on the side of the jack--remove and fill until oil runs out of this screw. Make sure that the "ram" is fully retracted into the body of the jack
Should be a screw at the side of the jack body Make sure piston is in collapsed position and fill with hydraulic jack oil to this level
Standard hydraulic oil is a thin oil. Due to the high operating temperatures of the combustion engine, the oil breaks down much faster than standard motor oil. Using it can cause leaks on the motor seals. It will also cause your motor to wear faster than normal and the oil will be burned causing your car to discharge a thick white smoke from the exhaust.
what kind of hyderlic oil i have to put in jack
1010 SPECIAL HYDRAULIC OIL
put a jack under the oil pan and take off the upper motor mount
First thing you have to do is get it up in the air. Put jack stands under it to support it. Then you need to put a hydraulic jack under the oil pan with a block of wood to support the engine. Slightly raise the jack to get the weight off the engine and then remove the bolts holding the old mount in. Make sure to take your time and all should go well. Make sure the wood is flat under the oil pan and not on your drain plug or you could bend the pan. You don't want to do that.
you can but you'll be buying a new one very shortly afterwards. Use hydraulic fluid. Brake fluid works well also
There is a possibility (a danger) that a hydraulic Jack can suddenly slip, or develop a leak and collapse. Once the jack has raised the vehicle, it is put on to jack stands (axle stands) to prevent being trapped underneath the vehicle.
