Yes it does actually. Consider the glacier that was over North America all the way down passed the Great Lakes. When the receded back because of warming the slowly eroded the land away and left some interesting looking hills that are all facing the same way.

Also glaciers or ice are extremely heavy and can press down on the earths crust, but the crust is almost plastic like so it can bounce back to where it was.
