Yes, all metals (and all substances) have a vapor pressure. Some materials have a very low vapor pressure so that they much be heated to very high temperatures to create much vapor, others have a high vapor pressure so they do not have to be heated very much to create vapor. As far as metals go, some metallurgical processes rely on the vaporization to purify metals (distillation). This is one process used to produce high purity Zn, Cd, As, Hg, and other metals. Welders have to be careful welding certain metals (galvanized steel is one) because breathing some metal vapors makes you sick. Vaporization is also used to produce thin coatings of metals, for example, Au plating. Usually these metal vaporization processes are conducted in a vacuum chamber.

How much energy per kg would it take to vapourise iron in Earth's core?

At standard pressure and temperature it takes about 6 Mj to vaporize one kg of iron. The high pressure at the core of the earth makes the central part solid and would probably increas the energy needed for vaporization.

How is gas invented?

If you mean, 'how do you make a gas?' It depends on what you are trying to make into gas, but to turn water into gas you have to heat it to 100degrese, then it starts to vapourise (steam) and then its a gas! Certain liquids have to be heated to certain degrese to make them vapourise.

Can silver turn into a gas?

The relative vapor pressures of the mixture components are important in GC Gas Chromatography but not in LC Liquid Chromatography Why is that?

In Gas Chromatography, before you can correctly separate and identify the components, you need to vapourise the mixture first. How fast a substance vaporises is dependent on their vapour pressure. In Liquid Chromatography, there is no need to vapourise the mixture and hence vapour pressure is not important here.
