Use exactly what the manufacture of your vehicle recommends and nothing else. To do otherwise is foolish.
The vehicle take 5w30 syntecblend
The 4.9L, 5.0L and 5.8L call for 5w30. Although a 10w30 would not hurt to use as well.
Yes, it will hurt. Honda designed and built the engine and they recommend SAE 5w30 oil. So there is your answer. Use what Honda recommends and nothing else. To do otherwise would be foolish.
if you have an SUV use 10w30 if small vehicle 5w30 i would also recommend using fully synthetic at all times.
Use only SAE 5w30.
Any name brand 5w30..though 5w30 is good. It is recommended that if you have of 75000 miles on your vehicle, you should use Max Life Oil. It is a thicker oil that will not leak as easy and is designed for high mileage vehicles.
for 4.0l/ 4.7l H.O. use 10w30 for 4.7l use either 10w30 or 5w30 but 5w30 is preferred
