If you want them to have welts and bruises and mabey one eye, then yes. Me, being a kid, think it is really fun. Kids get bored with those REALLY easily, tough. I also think it might give us kids a wrong message. Soon, your kids might want to go paint balling, which HURTS A LOT. My parents will not let me do that and NEVER will I ever think of being allowed to get beebee guns. Toy soft guns might not be a good start for kids. I would stay with harmless water guns.

I assume you are asking about BB guns not Air soft guns. There are a few that fall under $50 but they are C02 not spring powered. Marksman makes a line of spring pistols under $50 but they are terrible and not worth the cost. See the link below for C02 air guns.
