Of course it is helpful. Why would anyone do it if it weren't helpful? Yes, it's dishonest. Yes, it can get you in a lot of trouble. But there are certainly advantages to lying and cheatin. If there weren't, no one would do it.

∙ 14y agoIt can't no matter how you put it. Let say that you lie because you know you will get in trouble, and next time you think that lying will help you again. You will only lie and cover it with another lie, on top of the other lie and before you know it all you do is lie. Don't forget the old myth that " what goes around, comes around" at the end you will not be trusted anymore, just like cheating. If you want to cheat, why not let go your partner so there's no heavy drama that will fall in the person.
