unfortunatly no you can't. If you and a friend want to connect, you'll need to umds. i had to get 2 :(

You can play on a quest with 4 people or less. You need to have a PS3 with a wired connection and start up the app called adHoc party, and meet up with people. That is the only way, well then there is XLink Kai but that costs money....

it depends on you really. ACB is cool but it's short. if you want to kill violently cool then try this. MHFU is cool also, long and fun with friends. if you have some friends with PSP, go for this then go Adhoc... it's really fun. after completing the mission, you can smash each other like a PVP. it's fun to see them flying around hehehe...

you must open your adhoc and enter the gathering hall online (pressing "O" rarther than "[ ]" when you go insidethe gathering hall. you must also have the same gathering hall. try to change the setting to "mannually" enter the gathering hall by pressing "start" under "options" menu. one should create the missions while the others join by pressing "[ ]" on the message board. ( it's to the left of the Gathering hall's seller lady or the one who sells stuff)
