I used to take mucinex alot to get high, even 7 days in a row. and Yes it will make you trip. I used to think I was in a different world and dimension also. Mine always lasted 2 days because I took alot and Im a very small person but I would never go in public because I could barley walk and I had to hold onto walls. I have only got sick when I drank alcohol when I was on it. If you feel sick, I always just ate (even tho its hard, lol) and i felt better. Its really fun but theres a chance your lungs will colaspe and I have had friends who have been sent to the hospital because of overdosing and my best friend was told by her doctor that she does not know how long she will live but she is currently just dieing from mucinex. I have quit and will never do it again. Dont try it.

∙ 14y agoNo. Sudafed PE is Phenylephrine. This medication is a vasoconstrictor (it raises blood pressure -- mostly when administered IV -- PO admin doesn't show much change), an eye dilator, and -- maybe -- a decongestant (although recent studies indicate it doesn't outperform the placebo).
There's nothing psychoactive there.
