No, dog shows judge how well a particular dog represents the "standard" for his breed. Since a mutt is not just one breed, he couldn't represent a breed.

A mutt COULD be entered in a dog agility competition. These are timed-trials where dogs run through, under, around, over an obstacle course in the fastest time while following the trainer's commands about where to go. A dog does not need a pedigree to be in one of these competitions.
