Rotary scoliosis means that the vertebrae are not only curved into an "S" or "C" shape, but also twisted/rotated. If someone with rotary scoliosis bends over to touch his/her toes, you can often see that one side of the rib cage sticks out to make a "rib hump" as a result of the rotation.

firstly scoliosis is a 'condition' secondly, i guess it kind of is have you ever seen your body in that condition? i have, when your hips arent in line with the rest of your body and you have 1cm of space between your bottom rib and your hip bone, that's a bit freaky. it can cause alot of insecurity.
