Mac computers don't really have that good of security, rather most of the big infections aren't designed to infect a Mac.
Spams are Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages and they can infect your computer by like... say this guy tells you that you have 44 minutes to do this blah blah blah if you dont blah blah blah after you done press F6......and that is how you can really get viruses.
There are multiple ways to protect yourself from email viruses. The first and most simple way is to not click on email attachments from unknown senders. These are most likely a virus that will infect your computer. Secondly, if your antivirus has the capability, set it to where it will automatically scan email attachments. Beware of worms though, these things will infect your friends' computers and then send you an email making it look like it came from them when it is really a virus.
There are no active viruses infecting Mac OS X. What are commonly called computer viruses are in reality viruses that infect the Windows operating system. Mac users, like any other computer user, can be tricked into downloading and installing malware on their Mac but such problems are limited to that user and do not affect other Mac users.
No. The main reason is that viruses are not really alive, the way you and I think of it. Drugs like Interferon, which occur in the body's cells and as a manufactured drug, do not "kill" viruses, but rather block the virus's ability to grab hold of and infect your body's receptor cells.
Computer programs that do not have a positive outcome for your PC.

If anybody still goes on MySpace
