YOUR KEY AND OR LOCK CYLINDER IS TOO WORN.
If you do not have a key, a locksmith can get you in.
Accidents like breaking a car key in the ignition do happen. A person can use tweezers to remove the key piece or call a professional.
With the key stuck in the accessory position the steering wheel is locked and the gearshift is locked in the park position. Perhaps you should consider having a locksmith change the key cylinder where it is, or else have it towed to the garage.
To bypass the ignition switch on a 1994 Chevy Astro, simply attach a wire to the ignition switch where it makes contact after the key is turned on. Run the wire to the push button and install at the lower part of the ignition switch to send power to the starter. Ê

Answer The key has to be in the accessory position then you have to push hard on the pin as you are pulling on the key wiggling the key will help loosen it If key will not turn to accessory position you will have to drill out cylinder.If you don't want to do this a locksmith is cheaper than the dealer
