Yes.
Most all but a few species of trees loose their leaves in the fall. The weather gets colder, the sap within the tree leaves retreats and the leaves loose nourishment and die. A vibrantly colorful leaf is actually dead. Green leaves are alive.
Evergreen trees retain their leaves throughout the year, shedding old leaves gradually rather than all at once. Deciduous trees lose their leaves each fall, typically in response to changing seasons. This is a key difference in their growth patterns.
trees lose their leaves because the sun gives them chlorophyll. without chlorophyll, the leaves die and drop off.
palm trees and hibiscus trees once the summer is over they just die because they are from worm countrys that do not have winter. If they where in there home they would stay alive for a very long time but here it is about two months.
Trees are also harmed by acid rain. In Germany, the forests are believed to be dying because acid rain is harming them. Scientists say that acid rain damages the waxy outer coating that protects the leaves. When this happens, it allows the acid to seep into the tree. Instead of water changing from a liquid to a gas inside the leaves, gas is taking the place of the water. This prevents the plant from taking in carbon dioxide to perform photosynthesis, and the plant will eventually die. Acid rain, acid fog, and acid vapour also damage forests by damaging the surface of the leaves and needles. This makes it harder for the trees to withstand the cold and will cause the tree to die. Acid rain also harms the soil that the trees are growing in by taking most of the valuable nutrients away from the soil. Acid rain also leaves a lot of aluminum in the soil, which can be harmful to the trees that grow there. The atmosphere deposits a lot of toxic metals into the forests because acid rain contains metal. Some of these metals are lead, zinc, copper, chromium, and aluminum. When there is acid rain, the rain releases these metals. This is believed to stunt the growth of many trees and plants. This also stunts the growth of mosses, algae, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and fungi that are needed to help the forest grow. Forests need these because they eat the harmful things that will kill the trees, such as bad bacteria. Acid rain hurts trees because they cannot grow any more. Hope this helps :)
The rain forest has many trees in it. We need trees to breath. If we dont have any trees, then we dont have any oxygen. Then we die. It saves us if we save the rain forest!
if there is no rain drought will occur .number of birds and animals will die and human also. trees will get dried plants will die and as a result earth will die
Most deciduous trees lose their leaves in Autumn . . . trees like maples, linden trees, elm trees; however, oddly enough, many oak trees do not lose their leaves in Autumn. The leaves turn colors, and then die and turn brown. The dead leaves take their time to drop off. In my area, some oaks still have their dead leaves as late as early Spring.
The Chloroplasts in the leaves die.
the birds from the top of the trees will die
In The Spring Leaves Grow In The Summer Leaves get darker In The Fall Leaves Turn Orange And Die And In The Winter Trees With Now Leaves They Grow As They Change
Evergreen trees, such as pine trees and spruces, do not lose their leaves.
