A small amount will just burn off, causing smoky exhaust. More will gum up injectors and foul up plugs.
A four cycle engine does not use a gas/oil mixture. The oil is in the crankcase and the gas goes in the gas tank. If you put oil in the gas on a 4 cycle engine it will run poorly and smoke a lot.
help
Someone probably put sugar in your gas tank.
2 stroke engine ? Better to mix the oil and gasoline before pouring into the tank.
a 2 stroke engine is lubricated by the fuel. the fuel is either premixed with oil and poured into the gas tank or it has a separate oil tank to inject the oil into the gas. once past the carburetor the fuel mist flows around the inside of the engine before entering the combustion chamber.
It doesnt use mixed fuel. Gas in the gas tank and 15w40 in the oil tank. I would suggest draining the oil first and then going with a synthetic oil. Engine will hold up longer. Hope that helps.
It will not hurt the engine what so ever, But it will make it smoke and might fowl out a spark plug.
If you are referring to gasoline mixed with 2 cycle engine oil; not if its a little bit in a large tank filled with normal gas.
Harleys don't mix oil with their gas. Harleys have "dry sump" oil systems; instead of there being an oil pan in the engine, a Harley has an oil tank under the seat. The grade you want is 20W50.
Where is the oil tank? Do you mean gas in the engine oil? Bad fuel injector or bad computer causing injector to stay open and let gas leak into engine after shut down. Should be missing and rough idle also. Clicking could be oil is thinned out by gasoline.?
No you can not use gas engine oil in diesel engine oil because processing of diesel engine is different from gas engine oil. If you use this then it damage your vehicles.
A gas only engine has a spout where oil is added to the engine. If there is no spout, then it is a gas/oil engine. FYI - gas only engine is a four-stroke (four-cycle) engine and the gas/oil engine is two-stroke (two-cycle).
