Teeth can continue to grow/come through even after you have stopped growing in height. This is actually quite common. The vast majority of men have fully ceased growing by the age of 22, although quite a few may stop growing in height before this age. Between 20 and 22 growth generally slows down a lot.

Why would one not expect to continue increasing in height with age?

As people age, the growth plates in their bones fuse, causing them to stop growing taller. Additionally, factors such as genetics and hormones also play a role in determining a person's ultimate height potential. Once growth plates close, it is unlikely for someone to continue increasing in height.
