Well each day that you do not take your pill, your chances of becoming pregnant increases greatly. You can get pregnant almost immediately.
Typically a woman who had normal periods before using the pill will ovulate 2-4 weeks after stopping the pill. The average couple will get pregnant in six months, whether the pill was used before or never used.
Your boyfriend's steroid use does not increase the risk of pregnancy. It's possible for the pill to fail, but not because of his medication.
I think you just listed ALL the symptoms for a baby in the oven minus nausea. My sister got pregnant from missing one pill.
The contraceptive pill effects the entire menstrual cycle. The pill suppresses the menstrual cycle in order to prevent ovulation so that you cannot fall pregnant if you were to have sex.
You can get pregnant after you stop the pill.
You can get pregnant whilst on the pill, but it is very unlikely.
They do not. Taking the pill decreases the chance of getting pregnant, but it is still possible to become pregnant on the pill.
A small amount of variation when taking the pill should not affect the outcome. You need to take the pill around the same time every day.
Actually even with being on the pill you an still get pregnant. Some ladies have a higher chance by being on the pill. I was on the pill and got pregnant.
You cant take a pill to get pregnant ! Getting pregnant involves having un-protected sex !
To fall pregnant while on the pill you would need to miss a pill (or two) to allow ovulation and then have intercourse. Since sperm can live in your body for up to 3-5 days, having unprotected sex in the days following a missed pill is very bad. I would not say that you have a "good" chance in falling pregnant by missing one pill every now and then. There is a "slight" chance you could fall pregnant. Remember that most pills these days stop pregnancies in TWO ways: Firstly by stopping the egg from being released, and secondly by not allowing it to implant in the uterus. Therefore you are partly protected. To me it sounds like you are deliberately trying to fall pregnant - is this entrapment? It is never a nice thing to do.
