Koi is a type of fish. Just don't put koi in the pond and it will not be a koi pond.
Nothing you can do except transferring them to a large tub with a bubbler for oxygen.
koi fish
You can put sucker fish in ponds, but you will need somewhere to keep it in the winter if you live in a state that has cold winters and/or snow. Unlike the Koi and goldfish they cannot live under the ice in the pond. The coldest temperature sucker fish can withstand is about 55 degrees.
Koi are a large growing fish (I've seen them at over 50cm long) and so they require a pond not an aquarium. They are also quite expensive. Koi are not for the beginner.
i have a koi ond and a few of the fish are chasing another fish around and have been all morning what;s the problem?
goldfish, koi
You can definitely install a pond pump in a Koi Fish Pond. http://www.coloradokoi.com/ has a lot of valuable information about caring for your Koi Fish Pond!
No it should not be a problem. Just clean the pond.
My koi pond is black, with stone sides. . .to me this makes the fish very visible I would google image "koi pond" to get a better idea. At koi shows they are displayed in blue tubs. Web sites that have koi for sale show all their koi on blue backgrounds. Some koi have black in them and some are completely black. With a black background the black fish disappears. from a small business that specialises in ponds or someone who has a pond and koi fry.
no koi fish do not need a lot of space 10 to 12 of them are often put into a small pond
