no they cant
You cannot drop things in peoples room on Habbo anymore. This ability was removed nearly 6 months ago to prevent people from losing their furniture in the event they gave their password away and someone logged onto their account.
Ask a friend to be in your room. Trade the furni(s) with him/her. Log in with your other account then go to the room. Get the furni from the friend.
Because the furniture is loading (that's if you see it in a room).

Habbo is a website on which you have an avatar. Your avatar can travel to different rooms and chat with people there. You dress your avatar in different clothes and you pretty much do whatever you want. There are news updates and other things like that. You can make your own room with special furniture and name it whatever you want. Every once in a while there is a special room that is added on for a limited time such as a twilight room or a Christmas room.
Any friend that has furniture or is willing to make a large room with your help. Never give your furniture away, as you may not get it back.
