did you read anything about this subject before asking the question. anyway, Oxycontin (not oxycoton) is just a brand name of oxycodone. the brand Oxycontin just implies that the oxycodone is in an extended release form and does not contain high amounts of another (usually OTC) pain killer such as Tylenol or ibuprofen.
