Yes you can, however why would you? you can also adjust the slack to make it into a regular hub.

yes you can the only operating diferences between a freecoaster and a cassette/freewheel is that on a freecoaster you can travel backwards without having to backpedal to accomodate the natural backpedaling a cassette/freewheel does and with freecoasters there is a usually adjustable amount of slack when you pedal before the bike starts to travel forwards :)

Fixie bike are bikes (usually road bike frames) that have a fixed rear sprocket which allows you to pedal forward like normal, but does not allow you to just coast . Release the parking brake and either use the hand lever or the foot pedal. Push the hand lever forward to go forward and back to go back. If a foot lever then forward pedal to go forward then rear pedal to go backwards. You won't be able to have the blades engaged to go backwards unless you use a bypass if it's there. The throttle should be near the steering wheel.
