He may be sad about being ill. I mean, he's a dog, he doesn't exactly "know" what an "illness" is, cuz, well, he is a dog! So he may as well be in depression and shock mode to the point where he cannot eat! This one also may as well not have anything to do with your healthy dog. Please take your ill dog to the vet, and possibly try and feed him/her in a separate room.
