Can a human get telekinetic powers?

Right now, no. Believe it or not, scientists say that humans, right now, can only use 20% of their brain. If we can unlock and use the other 80%, the answer will likely change to "Yes."

In addition, unrecorded telekinetic events have been told of during times of high stress and life threatening situations, when the subconcious mind is most active. This may be due to adrenline bursts which unlock more than 20% of the mind for a breif period of time, althought this may also be simple rumor. Nothing spectacular has ever occured beyond the moving of a simple book or two at most.

According to classical mechanics, to move an object without direct contact, there must be some kind of electromagnetical or gravitational force applied.

It is known that humans create a weak magnetic field, but it hasn't been documented yet that somebody could control it's power and direction to one's will, or, at that matter, make it strong enough to move something.

On the other hand, scientists still fight to prove what exactly causes gravitation, so it might be possible for humans to have some kind of control on gravitation, but it's even more unlikely than the previous version.
