Pilots fly over deserts all the time. There is nothing dangerous about flying over a desert.
They are called, "Pilots".
If they are pilots they should. ;)
Commercial pilots are any pilots that fly for to earn money, as opposed to military pilots or pilots that fly for the fun of it. Commercial pilots would include both Corporate pilots and Airline pilots. Corporate pilots fly for a specific company, flying the companies airplanes. As an example GM, Ford and other big companies have their own planes to fly groups around the country or the world. It is often more cost effective then buying commercial airline tickets. Airline pilots fly for airlines and are usually required to be members of a union. Another type of commercial pilot are those that fly for Cargo companies, such as FedEx or UPS.
Yes
They fly helicopters.
It is fair to say that most pilots do not fly themselves to their own holiday destinations. Whether they are working in the busiest time of the year (holidays time) or they are simply taking a break (they don't like to work on their breaks), only a minority of pilots own their own airplanes and those are, fair to say, for enjoyment of going out and flying, not always for transportation purposes.
You can fly planes with it, retard.
I would assume that it was because she liked the challenge and it made her feel free. Most pilots feel that way.
Aviators are pilots and fly aircraft.
