Sesame seeds are fine to eat for people who can get tested for drugs. Poppy seeds are a different story. FWIW, some agencies have raised the cutoff for opiates to 2000 ng/ml to eliminate poppy seed as a cause of a positive opiate screen.

∙ 12y agoDepends on how much a persons consumes, it will prob take 9 poppy seed bagels to show any level of false pos, but there are other ways they can reconfirm if it is poppyseed, best advice, just be honest and let them no your addict to poppyseed bagels, help is out there but you got to reach out for it!
