Yes, you can still get cold sores. Luckily, they're normally no worse than if you had them pre-transplant. Just stick some Zovirax on the cold sore to treat it (Zovirax contains the antiviral Aciclovir, which is the typically used anti-viral for all herpes infections.) As Zovirax is applied topically, it should not interact with any of your other medication. This should usually stop the cold sore from developing, and aid healing, however if in doubt always see your GP/consultant.
