They are not PCs and sure you could invent some business like renting it out or renting time on it out set up with a game, but I doubt it would support anyone

Gamestop does not have any new PS2 consoles available and used consoles start at $30-40. When in stock Gamestop sells the new consoles for $99.99 just like at Amazon which has stock available as does Walmart and wants only $99

There are many used consoles and complete systems available or you can upgrade to the PS3 that continues to drop in price. With the large amount of used consoles and the low cost of a new replacement ($99.99) the repair of a broken PS2 is not usually the most economical choice

Some of the consoles are still used and many of the games are still played on PS2 or PS3 consoles. The Playstation games are even sold at the Playstation Store for there use on the new consoles although many have been upgraded
No except for early PS3 consoles that had 4 USB ports PS3 consoles can not play PS2 games.
