Not directly... however, the fuel pump may be affected as is it set to draw from a tank with a bit of air space in it. If the fuel injectors or carburetor is out of whack, however, that can cause the engine to run too rich, fouling plugs and sometimes stalling.
Usually caused by one of two things: Lack of fuel or too much fuel.
Too much PSI.
Check for proper installation of fuel pump and filter.
putting too much oil in any engine is not good... the oil can over flow to your spark plug... that can cause stall..
She may be stressed. Try to get her used to the stall a little at a time. Start with just a few minutes and work up to longer periods of time. If you notice that she is still upset try a smaller paddock. This won't be as closed in as a stall but she will be closer and you can keep an eye on her. Make sure she has clean bedding, straw is much better than shavings for foaling.
A car will stall when accelerating between 25 and 40 miles per hour due to a vacuum leak. When the cars computer cannot properly read the how much fuel to inject due to erratic air ratios the engine is prone to stall at random times.
1st try checking the EGR valve. If the EGR valve is sticking or leaking it can force too much air into the air/fuel mixture causing the motor to stall out.
You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Connect the gauge to the fuel rail and start the engine. The gauge will tell you how much pressure they pump is putting out.
The Map sensor tells the fuel injector how much fuel the engine needs. If not plugged in, it might start and run for a few seconds, since it usually runs rich to start, but then the computer will not know how much fuel to output, therefore it will stall
My car is putting out too much petrol. It blows smoke. I repaired everything and I think it might be a sensor. How do I get the right amount of fuel distributed and where?
your cv axels and or power steering pump has to much load on your motor change the pump. cv joints scrub speed in corners but will not make car stall
Not alot of fuel left They omost did not make it.
