Many rabbits do like pear, and it's a good treat for them, BUT:
See the related question below about a good rabbit diet.
Rabbits can eat a variety of grasses, vegetables, and fruits, and Asian pear should be fine. But be careful when feeding fruit to your rabbit, as most fruits are quite high in sugar and water content, which can lead to an overweight rabbit or diarrhea. Try your rabbit on a small chunk of the pear and see if it likes it. Watch for the next day or two to see if the droppings become too loose or runny. If bunny likes it and all is fine, a small amount every and then should be fine as a treat.
Pear is okay for rabbits as a treat, although seeds should be removed first (like apple seeds, pear seeds are toxic). Treats should be limited in a rabbit's diet because too much can lead to illness. The House Rabbit Society recommends no more than 2 tablespoons per day for a normal, healthy 6 pound rabbit who otherwise eats a healthy diet with plenty of hay. See the related question for more info about a pet rabbit's diet. Don't give your rabbit anything too sweet or too salty.

Two types of pears can be grown in Virginia.European pears (Pyrus communis) are the type most commonly seen in the supermarkets. Common varieties include 'Bartlett', D'Anjou', 'Bosc' and 'Comice'. These pears are picked when mature but before they are ripe, then they are exposed to a chilling period, and then ripened. The flesh of the ripe fruit is usually soft and mealy.Asian pears were developed from several Pyrus species, but are usually considered to belong to the genus Pyrus and the species serotina. Asian pears are sometimes marketed as "Sand pears", "Chinese pears", "Japanese pears", or "apple pears". Asian pears are usually fairly round and ripen on the tree. The flesh is usually white, crisp, sweet, and juicy. Asian pears are best eaten after being held in the refrigerator for a day or two. Then the fruit is peeled, cored, and sliced.
The worms that you find in apples, pears and Asian pears are either apple maggots or coddling moth larvae

Rabbits eat, of course, rabbit pellets found at almost any feed or pet store. Contrary to popolar beleif, they really don't live on carrots. They shouldn't eat anything but their pellets and water until they're about 4 months old, but even after that, their intake of fruit and veggies. Grass is okay too, but remember, like any thing else it should be in moderation. From the time they're born they should be introduced to water. The wil learn quickly not to sit in it. Even though rabbits are good swimmers water is'NT they're favorite thing.
